I'll just post this here so I don't have to rewrite everything in Finnish:

I've been thinking about a show that would uphold the ideals of FiM, without using any of Hasbro's intellectual properties. The main goal in planning this "bible" is to come up with a cast and setting that have the most potential for FiM-style episodes.

The basic premise is that the show takes place on a new continent far away from the mainland Equestria, referred to only as the "mainland" or "maneland" in the show. The main location would be a small town (name needed) that was originally a logging camp but has since grown to about the size of Ponyville. The town is near a forest of giant trees, and many of the older buildings are built from their trunks or even inside trees similar to Twilight's old library. As ponies avoid exploiting nature, the logging has slowed down since the early years and the vast, mostly unexplored forest is still full of mysteries.

The working title for this show is "Settlers of Horseria", but as always, suggestions and discussion are welcome.

I'm not a native Finnish speaker (and thus don't understand Finnish), but I'm enjoying Finnish dub very recently. Sounds like good dub to me, but, as a foreigner, I'm not sure if it's a well-made dub or not.

So let me ask you something. To you, is the Finnish dub translated well, has well acted, has appropriate voice performers for each character, or something more?

P.S. Do the Finns call muffin and cupcake a muffin, no matter the difference between them?

By the way, I'm surprised the Finns have retained original pitch for all episodes on their broadcasts, a rare case in the European dubs.

Why cant everyone on Earth just learn and speak English instead of hundreds of different languages?

Every language's vocabulary has already been translated and transcribed into English so we can always just use an auto-translator to read archaic texts, literature and/or document. No "culture" will be lost.

Its not like as if there are many Finns out there who actively seek out ancient Finnish literature to begin with. Even if people had interest in such things, the technology and means needed to translate texts of a foreign language is readily accessible.

I know this isn't a G3-chan, but after seeing Sari Ann Moilanen's ( http://sariann.com/ ) filmography ( http://sariann.com/tiedostot/CV_suomeksi.pdf ) which says she played both FIM and G3.5 Scootaloo, I suddenly want to watch all the G3 cartoons in Finnish, or at least want to get Finnish voice cast list of all those cartoons.
